Safeway Open Round Four
and there was rain on Saturday. PHIL endured it but suffered a bit. Hopefully PHIL will score low today

Phil is going to be aggressive. I'm figuring a 63 or 73 today. He doesn't care about top 10.

1st hole drive way left. His misses are back to being big. Been a year with Getson but still terrible accuracy.

If Phil could hit fairways he'd be winning!

Could see his demeanor change when the putts didn't fall. I think he's tired out! Coulda shoulda won this under different circumstances.

Solid WEEK considering he was running on fumes. Too bad he couldn't birdie a par 5 today it would have meant a top 5.

4 shots away from winning. He could easily have won had he not run out of steam. I think he was coming off his RC high. Weather was a factor as well as fatigue, I think. Good showing for him.

I guess one can say the lousy weather and delays doesn't allow one to keep a good schedule to practice things while at the tournament, etc....so a solid start.

Phil, tell me it's not true...that you won't be tee'ing it up again until January? What?, are you crazy?....and then spend another 3 months trying to get the rust off again?, get back to where you were?... you should at least play once/month during your 'off-season', imo.

I'm ok with Phil starting at the Career Builders in January. Remember he FINISHED 3rd there last year. We were all thrilled he started the season strong and was playing great the first few events. So hopefully it will be the same. ...no rust
