Are they putting on Bermuda (I think so). The hole that Phil's short putt lipped out on top of the hole, Sergio and Martin both missed above the hole as well. All were putting side hill with hole seemingly like it was on the down side....so all were putting on the upper edge of the hole thinking it would break into the hole.

First Martin misses on the high side,
Then Sergio followed and the announcers said "he must not have believed Martin's putt"
...then Phil from the other side, lips out on the high side edge of the hole.

My experience is Bermuda greens don't break like Bent grass greens do, they seem to hold the line more on what you would think would be a side-hill, breaking putt.

It'll be hard on Phil if he has to get only a partial round in today and get up again tomorrow to finish it. Sun is out here on the opposite side of the state, but there are patches of bad weather here and there all over the state this afternoon. Glad that Texas is a couple of weeks away, as they are having terrible weather there.

SUNDAY -MONDAY finish. Kind of glad because 36 holes in one day is too much. I dont care how old you are or what kind if shape you're in. We will see if Phil can string 4 good rounds together. That was missing last year. Im excited .He has to play smart. This course can bite ya real fast.
