His 1st putt broke right. Then the short putt he plays on the right edge. Not sure if it was a misread or mishit.

Phil's birdie putt slips in the hole on the 16th. Stenson makes par.

Phil hits a very good bunker shot, 3-4 feet for par

Phil and Stenson par the 18th. Phil did not have his A game today and is only one shot behind. The pressure will definitely be on Stenson tomorrow, will be interesting to see how he handles his nerves.

My exact thoughts. Stenson will have all the pressure. If Phil was up 2 or down 1, I don't think it truly makes a difference. They are clear of 3rd and should be a 2 man race.

Im still trying to figure why Phil hit driver so much. he said he wasnt going to. he has to keep it in play or hes dead. I do think Stenson may fold under pressure. Phil has to win this we arent going to have another major where all the young guys are out of contention.

Well, I think the wind was into them today and his iron off the tee might have left too much distance to cover with the second shot. Hope he gets it back for tomorrow. They said on tv that he got long with his backswing. So proud of him for hanging in there, and how much fun is it to have him around and in contention for the week-end and not a missed cut! He's a magician from trouble. Glad he didn't hurt himself swinging through the bush. Loved it when he said all that it's about is getting it in the hole and he doesn't care how it looks. LOL

He needed to today. First 9 was downwind so driver was great for attacking. On the second 9, he had to hit driver to reach the par 4s. His driver was quite straight today, especially on the second 9. Did not get him into trouble once

78% 71% 57% are his fairways hit so far. Stenson is a consistent 71% so far. .Tee to green Stenson is great. I did check his 4th round scoring average and it stinks So hopefully the nerves will get him.
