PGA championship 2015 2nd round
and guys struggled in the wind on Thursday afternoon. PHIL came in at even but it was a fight as he was often out of the fairways. His short game kept him in the event. Now he needs to move up the leaderboard. let's go PHIL
Re: PGA championship 2015 2nd round
As much I would like Phil to win, I have to pull for DJ on this tournament....would love to see him extract some revenge against the course and PGA. I thought he got robbed last time....PGA should have never allowed the people to stand in and occlude the vision of the bunker he was in.

Phil missed the green (in bunker) from 88 yrds?, what the heck?
Never mind...Shotlink has screwed up twice on Phil already and re-corrected...he's on the green in 2.
Now they got him back in the bunker?... from 88 yrds Phil, really?

WHAT THE HECK.... PHIL, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? How did he get a double? on such a short hole?
•Shot 6 in the hole
•Shot 5 putt 22 ft 9 in., 2 ft 7 in. to hole
•Shot 4 41 ft 11 in. to green, 20 ft 0 in. to hole
•Shot 3 2 ft 5 in. to left green side bunker, 21 ft 10 in. to hole
•Shot 2 88 yds to left green side bunker, 24 ft 3 in. to hole
•Shot 1 254 yds to left fairway, 89 yds to hole
That's it, his mind will be toast for the rest of the round. Completely amazing....Phil always seems to find a way to drop shots early in his rounds.

The only reason I felt bad for DJ was because his caddie should have been more aware and remind him he was in a bunker. He admitted to not reading the rules sheet then, which just blows my mind. You're in a major championship and you don't have time to read over a one-page rules sheet?!?! What really gets me is that they asked him this week if he read it this time and he said something like, "No, I think I get that rule now." If the lesson learned after that debacle wasn't ALWAYS READ THE SHEET NO MATTER WHAT I can't help that guy or feel too bad for him.

Perhaps you don't remember or never saw this shot....this is the view that DJ had to visualize where he was. Sorry, I have to blame PGA for allowing just a transgression of allowing people to completely fill the bunker from which players normally are allow to play from without having their view of the bunker obliterated like that.

Again Phil posts a big score and costs himself
Shots he can't afford if he is to compete and win a major-basically dropped almost 3 shots to field by doubling 10th...his irons were awful yesterday and he seemed to always go where you could not and did it again at 10 from only 88 yards. Now it will be a fight to make cut

Phil pars easy par5 11rh...another stroke lost to field...should be 2 under but is 2 over....he is done. I can't stand to hear him again say how well he was playing and that he is just a fraction off and so close.

Re: PGA championship 2015 2nd round
I saw it live and have seen it several times since then. My thoughts are the same. How many other penalties were there that week for the same transgression? I'm guessing none. The rule was clear, there's no doubt that was a bunker. If someone doesn't read the local rule sheet before starting a major championship I have a really hard time feeling bad for them.

On the road and just checked scores. Feel sick. Worst start plus afternoon wind supposed to be ok. Leaders will increase lead.

No doubt it was a bunker?...when you are surrounded by hundreds of people blocking your view of where you are? LOL. Scroll back up.

Wow, Phil is hitting it all over the freaking map. Likely to make bogie here unless he can chip it in.

Phil playing army golf at short par 4 13th...he is outside cut line of plus one already and wind will be mild all day so unless something changes dramatically he won't be playing the weekend.

This latest insider trading article was Deliberately published on day 1 of a Major. Even if Phil is innocent they are using his name to take down Walters. Just pathetic that it resurfaces NOW!!! Can't stand the press in this country. !!!

You don't play from a blimp. This is what DJ saw. If he hadn't admitted to seeing and completely ignoring the posted rule sheet, I would feel a little sympathy for him.
