Just a question about golf at the Olympics.

So, they are choosing 'teams' but it's not a team sport (unless played as in Ryder Cup), if I recall, the last one was Rose, Stenson, and Kuchar were winners, not their 'team mates'?  So why do they keep talking about the nationality-X, Y, Z 'team'? Or maybe they should play as match play teams, imo.
