Phil vowed not to return to Rocket Mortgage tourney because of negative article

Some writer in the Detroit area wrote a negative article about Phil regarding betting and the characters involved. It was a 23 year old story. He got pissed and vowed not to return.

But....but...then a someguy started a petition to get 50,000 signatures and Phil turned it around saying that if each of the 50,000 petitioners vowed to do a random act of kindness for someone in the Detroit community, he would return. Very nice way to turn that little nasty into a positive.
