Phil's play is just sad.  I wish he didn't open his mouth about "would he be willing to be Assist. Capt. at this years Ryder cup?" and he says something like "well, I'm not there yet, but I plan to try and play my way onto the team".  Yea, right.

Phil, play the Champions Tour, and all this talk of long straight nasty bombs. give it up, you could never hit them 10 years ago, you can't hit them now.

Well, Phil at T-138, he did beat David Duval (T-144) and John Daly (T-155).

Not much better in second round--too much golf ! Needs a rest

Too much golf? He's missed the cut so often, he's playing half as much as others. He really should consider going mostly Champion's Tour...that's his speed now.
