and PHIL will be out on the back side at #10 today. His bogies on the backside on the 1st round hurt him. He has had some stunning shots on Friday--missed two eagle putts!

Bad approach on 2nd hole, 70 yrds and couldn't get it within 28 feet, not great.

I'm hoping Phil can move up in the world rankings this week and next week to get into the WGC St. Jude. He likes that course and no cut. Hes currently 67th

PHIL has been on the bogie train too much today===I shot a 79 today! about as bad as I could. at age 63 I play a combo set of tees at my home course that is about 6000 yards. I can't do 7500 yards like the young men out there

Hes totally perplexed IMO. He came into this week very optimistic acco8to his interview after Travelers and it's not panning out.

I got thinking of the 2010 back 9 skins. He needed that back 9 on Thursday. I remembered the hole out on 16 from the old bunker. Also the eagle putt on 15. Glad they still had the video

I remember that great play and always wondered why it never transferred to tournament play. It was great beating Tiger even if it was only a skins game.
