and I think PHIL's hosting and media responsibilities have got him. He needs a super round to make the cut and say let's do it!!!

I'm going to say the cut will be (65-and-ties) at -8, minimum.  Currently it's set at -6 with 67 people at -6.  In all likelihood, they should improve their scores by at least 2 strokes, so I'm going to say -8 cut.  Phil at -2 means he has to shoot -6 today just to sneak across the cut line.  I don't think he will do it.

I wish he would not make all this hay about 'hitting bombs'. When his bombs are 45-degree off line, it makes his comments laughable and ridiculous that this would help his game.

In the water on a par five==after he missed the 3 birdie putts===Of course he missed a 6 foot par putt for the bogie.

He missed a 19 foot eagle putt but made a birdie on #8. He missed another set of birdie putts on #6 & 7.

Since making the cut was out of play Phil has been hitting awesome drives.
If he gets the putter going maybe next week will be a good week.

Phil hit 5, 9, then 11 fairways. He improved all week. Now the rest of the game needs work. Next week will be interesting. Strong field.
