Looks like scoring is going low, good golly. Not a time for a slow-start Phil. Need to have him on all cylinders!!

Wow, DJ is -4 through 7 holes, tied for 1st at -4 with 5 others.  I think the lead after round 1 can easily be something like -7/-8.

Make that DJ is -6 through 12...scores are low, really low. I hope they don't change it tomorrow, might screw people on the 2nd waive today if conditions change.

Gee, Phil wearing that new long sleeve dress shirt he is being sponsored by? I hope it doesn’t get too hot, although i see a lot of Okie native and landscapers wearing long sleeves in the heat of summer when working in yards

Not looking good... Phil at +1 and just chipped his ball from a high position (bounced off the right grandstands) onto the green and through/off the back side of the green. looks like bogie for sure.

Holy chit....double city?... tries his super Phil Phlop and it flopped alright, never made it on the green and rolled right back to him...ughly....now he putts it from 20 feet off the green.....and is about 10-12 feet short of pin (par-5, so bogey putt coming up)

I think that long sleeve shirt is sapping his energy. I have become noted that when we have our monthly meetings, especially in the winter, I'm the only guy in short sleeves....I don't like long sleeves, they make me feel hot.

Not anymore... on 2 holes today, Phil has looked like a hack that can't break 90; double bagie and back to +2. Could be the shirt, his face looks flushed....fool, wearing long sleeves in summer in Florida....anyone else in the field wearing long sleeves?

Dumb ass long sleeve shirt in Florida?... I don't even wear them in Oklahoma in middle of winter. I can imagine Tiger saying, "Phil, I'll pay you NOT TO WEAR THAT SHIRT TOMORROW, looking at you just makes me feel hot!"

It was my thought. I wear shorts/short sleeves all winter here in PA. Can't imagine long sleeves in Florida.

Phil is 7 over on his last 4 holes and is T141 and only ahead of 2 other players

He is looking like an idiot with this move, wear a longsleeve shirt to hype your new sponsor and becarse of the heat, sacrifice your round. Let’s see if he follows with the same tomorrow. So let me get this straight, Phil is complaining about low energy, or running out of energy, yet decides to wear a long sleeve shirt??? Whaaaattttt????
