and all in all not a bad round for PHIL. An even par 72 actually kept him in about the same spot-position wise. That double cost him as did several putts that just missed.

Out in threesomes at around 11 AM CT --more wind today so I suspect scores will be hard to find but a 68 for PHIL would likely put him near the top.

Sure seems like Phil is close. Just needs to get rid of that pesky wayward tee shot when things are going good. The windy conditions kind of give me pause for Phil's game but he does seem to be handling it much better in the past season or two.

I agree Ralph, a 68 would put him in a good spot for tomorrow. Would love to see him get a win with the Masters around the corner.

just cant put 4 good rounds together. Is tough you really get your hopes up and then no consistency with his game at all

PHIL is not the only one at +4 but a couple at -2 or -3.

I saw Phil miss a short putt on the back nine that even the announcer thought he would birdie. Seems he can't get out of his own way at times.

What's that saying, "I'm not as good as I once was.....but I'm as good once (i.e., 1 round) as I ever was."

Unfortunately, you need 4 good rounds to win a tournament these days.
