Bridgestone 2nd round 2017

Not a bad round for PHIL--a lot of steady golf but nothing spectular. He needs some great golf this week to get momentum for next week.

What's going on next week?

Phil's round is viewable online via Golfchannel... hit his first one wide right, had to yell to spectators, ugh.

Phil went from wide right to wide left of green....chipped it like 20 feet past the hole... expecting bogie at 1. It is raining out.

I know Callaway must be paying him well to wear those 2 rain gloves but I don't like them. He even putted with them on. Bogey on 1st. here we go.

I was almost going to sayy at his tee off, he didn't look comfortable.  He must have taken about 10-15 practice half-swings as if trying to stay in a particular swing plane.... didn't work.

Well, Phil is rising in the leaderboard because others are falling by the wayside. Wow, some are like 6, 7, 8 over

OK, makes a 20-ft putt for birdie to get back to Even.  Not too far back at this point...keep it up Phil!!

Phil is moving backwards. Lots of terrible scores but he's supposed to be playing better than this. He MC the British and was suppose to work on his game la d t 10 days. Everything looks way off. Very sad situation
