2nd Round 2015 Doral WGC

and except for a few players Doral showed some bit. PHIL struggled to find the fairway, get close to the pins and to make putts.

Other then that he was okay. Pretty Tepid 74.

Saying that the margin between a 64 and a 74 is so close. He just needs to get the ball in the fairway and on the green then make some putts.

Sounds pretty easy? Let's go PHIL.

I keep waiting for "that" round from Phil. One where it finally comes together.

I think if he can just go out and shoot the lights out it will really take some pressure off and then he can ride the momentum.

Very poor ball striking yesterday but he did putt pretty well. I do believe his game is close.

I know it. I felt like PHIL was so close this last week.

When PHIL had that 8 footer for eagle he could have got to -6 late on Sunday. He had it in his grasp and the putt just was weak.

So he was -5 with 13 holes to do. Five bogies over the next 13 holes just deflated me.

Yet I see alot of good in his game.

Darn Shot Tracker had 3rd shot flag say 0 ft - in the hole, but score shows a "4".

What a mess. WEll, at least that clears me up this weekend from having to watch more of the same.

Im on my way home from Doral . Followed Phil for 2 rounds and on the 10th hole a marshall had his back to Phil and was scolding people to put cameras down. It was right in the middle of his backswing. The ball lands in water doesnt cross hazard line and he has to re tee it up. Thus double bogey. PHIL HAD JUST STARTED T O GAIN MOMENTUM. He had birdied 8 and had a great par save on 9th and was back to even with 2 par 5s coming up.. FANS WERE REALLY CHEERING ON THE TEE BOX .He seemed crushed after the water ball. I blame the ignorant marshal and it was downhill the rest of the day.

That's hard to hear, Joan. It just goes to show you how much goes on that we don't see! Did the marshall ever know what he'd done?

I dont think so . But some people I heard mention it as we were walking down fairway. I was t e mped to say something I was so steamed

Round four tomorrow and 18 more holes. Hopefully it will be as spectacular as the Phil Mickelson Villa at Doral.
