Bones had double knee replacement surgery

I hope Bones heals OK, I've seen about 5 friends from high school have knee surgery the last year and 3 of them have recurring staph infection that have dogged them for the following year.

As a microbiologist, I remember telling the chief of surgery during watching over my mom during her melanoma surgery and skin graft (on her ankle) that "there's more sanitary safety in a bologna slicing operation than I seen in your pre-op area", where the anesthesiologist comes out to look at my mom's chart, sneezes on his lab coat sleeve and keeps it on....wth?.., the surgical attendant is wearing something like flip flops with no socks?...wth? tsk tsk tsk. And they wonder why all the surgical patients are coming down with hospital-acquired infections.

Phil will tee up at Torrey Pines next year.

I know Phil has a lot of loyalty to the west coast tournaments but worst thing he can do is come back too early and wreck the whole season. He had wanted to work on his driving on off season that didn't happen so my guess is he'll be playing to get in form. Hope he comes out firing again like last year but under the circumstances it's not likely. Hope I'm wrong.

I think it's likely that Bones could benefit from the time off as much as Phil.
