Re: Waste Management 1st round 2016
Phil is on deck!! Oh well, I can't keep track today, going to visit pet food manufacturer about food pathogen problems in pet foods, lol. Big issues lately....people are acquiring Salmonellosis from Salmonella-contaminated dry pet food treats they give their pets; FDA is coming down on the manufacturers, and they're starting to sample pet foods/treats! Wash your hands when you give your dog/cat treats, you never know!

Phil missed the birdie at 10, but hit his second on 11 (160+ yards) to 4-5 feet and made the putt.

Re: Waste Management 1st round 2016
My son and also my sister-in-law had seriously ill dogs from giving treats they tracked down to having been made in China. They were expensive, organic, blah blah. When they pushed to find the mfg. and not just the distributor, they found that they'd been made in China and were poisonous. Good thing you're doing Bulls.
About Phil, --has anyone heard if he's gotten his swing back in check. I have not heard any discussion of how badly he lost it at the end of Friday's round last week--anyone else heard anything? At least his coach should be close by. So far so good.

Driver looks really good thus far as Phil hits his third consecutive fairway to start the round.

Phil is slacking...his second on the par 5 15th is a whole 24 feet away.
Can he eagle two par fives in a row?

Re: Waste Management 1st round 2016
had a good shot at 16 (should have been cheered, not booed) but missed the 16 footer for birdie. Made par and is -4 (t2) heading to the short par 4 17th.

Not sure if he gets tired or loses focus, but he has trouble closing out around. Seems to lose it.

Re: Waste Management 1st round 2016
He struck the ball so well on the front nine, not so much on the back. Likely double coming up here. Could be digging himself a deep hole.

Three putt triple, you can pretty much forget this week with the way he's finishing this round.

Re: Waste Management 1st round 2016
Looks like he's attempting to give it all back! Must be very frustrating for him. Actually, I think it's going to take his new swing longer than he thinks to become second nature. His coach said he was ahead of schedule. Perhaps not.

Re: Waste Management 1st round 2016
birdie at 18 to finish -2
Don't know what to think at this point. Is Phil just fading at the end of every round? Or was this just a matter of one bad tee shot?
In any event, not a horrible round.
