WGC 2015 Bridgestone 2nd round

and PHIL will out in a bit. I will also be out for a bit. I have a family wedding in Nashville TN this weekend. I hate it when family events are in conflict with PHIL but hey its happens.

A dreary round for PHIL and apparently no interview. I am hopeful for a low round today and a great weekend.

Have a wonderful family weekend Ralph, and perhaps Phil will save his best for next weekend when you'll be here and he'll add another major to his resume'.

Yes they are! Phil needs to play some of the lesser tournaments, as Furyk does, to keep sharp, and Phil has too many other things going on to totally concentrate on golf, IMO.

Then it is Phil that has to clean his plate and free himself up, otherwise, he is no longer going to be relevant to the "who will be in contention" discussion.

Since TV came on it looks like EVERY facet of his game is OFF. Im really concerned because he said he was going to work on game after the British ...he was suppose to be CLOSE but talk about WAYYYY OFF. Is it just BS in front of the camera. He does have way too much going on in his life. I think last October it was reported he signed a multi year contract with Callaway. however many years that is so I was excited but this is really sad.

it used to be golfers reached their prime in their thirties . Not any more its extremely more difficult. especially when you are Phil who used to be able to handle it all but obviously he is older and priorities understandable have changed. Hate to say it but that British Open appears to be the last gift from the golf gods. Gosh I hope Im wrong but reality is setting in these last 2 years with no wins.

We can't go back to the glory days  and I am losing hope for the future. Just when I think I have accepted that his career is pretty much over, he comes out and does something spectacular. A win would be great even if it's the John Deere.
