Career Builders 3rd round 2016

PHIL played some seriousily good golf on Friday. Needs to find fairways today and dial in those irons. Stadium course can be a hand full.

If Dufner played the tough course yesterday and did that well, I'm hoping Phil can do the same today.

Dufner bogied 1st hole.... Phil only 3 back at the moment.

Lost ground to field on 5th par 5. Was sitting in the fairway too.

so so second shot cost PHIL a bird on the 1st par five of the day. Still very solid and at -1 so far.

Good par on 6. A couple birdie holes coming up. If he can go out in 33 that would do nicely.

Let's say that PHIL needs to just play the course. -6 on this course today would be a super super round. -2 right now after 6 holes.

I don't care for these mutiple course tournaments.

Phil chips in again. Wish THE LEAD Would Come BACK BUT not At THIS Tournament

Well, good for Phil to play in a birdie-fest tournament, get the confidence up that he's making birdies....good mental confidence boost prior to the other tournaments.

A few more putts and its a 63. PHIL hit 9/14 fairways today for a 27/42. You can't ask much then that from PHIL. Not even a whisper of a bogey today

I hope that he can keep his spot and at least get a top 10 or better tomorrow. Great that he had no bogies.

Agree great start for 1st event.no reason he can't top 5 OR better. It's golf.

I was listening to PGA Tour radio on Sirius in my car and the guy who was following Phil all day said he only missed 2 fairways directly, the other ones missed the ball hit in the fairway and rolled out to the first cut/rough.
