Phil talking about a career year! Let's hope these workouts lead to low scores.

Re: Phil's Schedule
That's fantastic. I like the exercises as it even looks like it would help strengthen core. Now here's the clicker, just because you do all that, there's no guarantee his golf results will improve.....and you know how Phil gets easily frustrated and that leads to lackadaisical play. So Phil, don't psyche yourself out with expectations that by doing this and showing physical results, that you'll automatically be in contention.

I asked ESPN Bob Harig and he said

My question was what happened to the Match ...I read it was likely supposed to be 2 more years then we heard nothing.

Re: Phil's Schedule
I would have preferred 4-6 people, with teams of 2. The 1-on-1 format is more likely to be boring. With more people, you'd more likely get some banter and smack-talk, much like if the players were miked up during their money match practice rounds. I think that would make it more interesting.
And 1-on-1, if one player is off that day, it's a lop-sided event, he probably wouldn't be talking much if not playing well, but with a group, I'm sure it be more enjoyable from spectator viewpoint.

Re: Phil's Schedule
Where the heck is Phil? At this rate, it will take him all next year to get the rust off that he is accumulating. Since he won't show up in Hawaii for the TOC, too bad since there's only 18 people in the field, much easier to win than against a 150-man field that a normal tournament has.... so likely no Phil for early January, is he really taking 3 months off? Is he going to show up at Palm Springs (Jan 16, 2020) as his next tournament?
