I have an early appt. but should be back before the end of the round. Hope he finds his game! Furyk missed the cut at the Masters and came out swinging!

Phil drives it to "unknown" and hits approach to 7 ft. for another birdie. He said he likes this place because he doesn't have to play perfect. Point proven Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

-2 through 2? I guess I'll take that... (considering how Phil is rusty and all)

disappointing on 14. The chip still left Phil with nine feet for birdie, which he missed and tapped in for par.

pbp indicates Phil left his third shot in the bunker on the par 5 15...so that's not good.

pbp changed its mind. Phil got out of the bunker but didn't get close to the hole. A couple of disappointing holes - missed chances - on 14 and 15.

Still -3 and t1

Phil looked to be in trouble on both 16 and 17, but hits a couple great shots to end up with tap in pars.

Still -3 and t1 after 8 holes

Phil should play the hole like Jim. maybe he will learn to control the urges watching Jim play next to him these 2 rounds.
