Approach on nine just a few feet from being really good, but it rolls back to about 35 feet away. Due for a long one.

He's come close to making some long ones today. Another just misses. Tap-in par and out in 36.

Needs a run on the back nine.

Big par save after an awesome massive full flop to a few feet.

Perfect drive on 11, big rip leaves 189 left.

Yes, from what I've seen, he's driving the ball well...maybe it's the larger fairways?

This place reminds me of Oklahoma State Univ's course, fairly good size fairways, but course length and especially the 12-13 stimp greens with tiered levels are it's main defense.

PHIL has driven the ball great---I sense he will be rewarded a good score today

Maybe the best iron Phil has hit so far this week, stuff his approach to five feet.

Tee shot on 12 all over it, spins back a bit to 15 feet below the hole.

Didn't hit it, comes up short and just a par. Hasn't made anything from that range yet today.

Wow, he did cut that corner a bit close. I remember one year he was in the woods on the other side of the stream.

Good looking iron shot but it's a little long and left, looks to be a tough chip.

Does McIlroy have to stand in his sight line? Geesh, I would have asked him to please move away from directly in front of my stance, or start standing out in front of him as well.

That was such a weak swing, ugh, looked horrible on the takeaway and forward move.

Way, way left on 14, not sure what he'll have for his next shot.
