and PHIL was solid at 66. He might have had a 63 or 64 with out a few errant putts and chips. He will be in France on Monday plus visit Scotland for Open prep.

Another bogie due to horrible driving. Down 19 spots from where he started....starting out a full day's run behind the leaders and dropping strokes only means he'll be getting lapped today if he doesn't light up. Besides, what's the cut going to be?, -3/-4?

Good bounce back birdie....37 ft putt! Did Phil get shafted? (i.e., a new shaft on his driver?....he hit a 374 yrd drive yesterday and Faldo was floored....funny listening to him..."oh he needs 300+ to carry the first bunker....wow, he's....he's...almost past the 2nd bunker (in fairway)….that's humongous....must be....other announcer cuts in, that's 374 yrds….Faldo going "oh my gosh, that's huge".

Phil's leaving too much on the table....9 ft putt for birdie and couldn't convert.
