Memorial 2nd Round 2018

and missed fairways cost PHIL on Thursday. He did not hit a fairway on the back nine on Thursday. He actually hit the fairway on #9 on Thursday but found water with his second shot for a double. Three fairways found at other holes lead to three birdies on the front. Hey Golf is easy hitting fairways and greens

Lets go PHIL and make the cut and birdies.

And he didn't find the fairway on the 1st hole today as well...and hit his second shot only 48 yrds out of a fairway bunker....luckily made an approach shot to 3 feet...hope he makes the putt.

Phil makes par (Bubba and Speith both bogie...Speith now +4, hmmm).

When Phil waited 2 hours before deadline to commit to this event I knew something wasn't right. Pressure from pga who knows. He looks like he rather be anywhere but there. 2 hazards now on the par 5 . In 17 tries he has 3 top tens. This course is not for him. He should have spent an extra day at Shinnecock and play next week . MC will be a plus,at this point

Phil is playing ugly golf...on par-5 2nd hole (11th), he finds water on left off the tee (stream?) and then hits/drops out, and finds the water again near the green. Ugh, he's going home, Missed Cut. He can give Speith a ride home too.

A 6?... lucky, was thinking double bogie.

I hope PHIL gets his round in before any possible storm delays. He looks tired . He's had 2 weeks off plus the weekend at The Players. I know he has plenty of business ventures but this doesn't bode well for his game. It's dead calm there and he can't hit a fairway or putt. I'm sure his final 9 won't be good. A MC bothers us more than him. Let me be a broken record again. He should have skipped this week and played Shinnecock and still had time to rest before Memphis.

Does Phil have a black graphite shaft on his putter? Look at the video on Golf Channel "Phil has near hole out from 126 yards", and the very end of the video it shows him tucking his putter under his arm, has a black shaft on it.

My strategy is working.... be critical (say he's not making the cut) and let him prove me wrong, lol.

My theory going out the window too. In this case I LOVE being wrong! Go Phil !!!
