Very good flop shot leaves an eight footer for par.

I think he is nervous....can't believe Phil is the only one among 15 players at the top of the leaderboard not under par.

was just going to say that. This is the pressure he needs to feel that he keeps talking about. I guess this is all good to experience it . Is been a long time he cant afford to stumble any more coming in

Spieth is unbelievable. we need him to bogey 18 and Phil at worst par his way in.

Wow just an awful chip from an easy spot on 16, runs seven feet past the hole.

Terrible, terrible bogey.
He's gonna have too many guys ahead of him to have a good shot tomorrow.

Basically the same story as the Honda/Valero. Good position after 36 holes only to fall apart on the weekend.

And into more trouble on 17, can't get there in two from where he drive ends up, so likely another bogey coming up.

Pretty easy par putt, but he pulled it and makes bogey.

Horrible, just horrible. He's not ready for Augusta with these kind of shots.

He seemingly can only muster no more than 2 good rounds/tournament anymore.

Well we need a miracle finish on Sunday
PHIL just did not have it today.

Re: Shell Houston Round Three 2015
Three straight bogies for a 75. No shot to win tomorrow, so he won't get what he was looking for out of the week, to contend on a Sunday.

Re: Shell Houston Round Three 2015
It's not going to happen with those guys jamming up the leaderboard. Phil threw it away today, just an Even par would have done well against all the guys that were under par. But +3, he's just playing for position tomorrow. Don't know about Augusta....he hasn't shown on less difficult setups that he can go the distance, I don't know how he expects to do it at something like Augusta.

Re: Shell Houston Round Three 2015
Phil was -11 after 15 holes and finished with 3 bogeys in a row. Hard to believe after leading tour in birdies first 2 days. He will be going super aggressive tomorrow needing eagles on the par5s so be ready for another possible 75 or a 63.
