PHIL's putt at 17---if there was a harder putt out there I want to see it.
He can putt!!! Twisting turning and fast like putting on concrete

For once, I thought it was the right move. An eagle opportunity there might have gave him a chance. Even with par, he will most likely be top 5.
the way he was putting today, I thought he should have taken the 20-25 footer for eagle instead of trying to stick it in tight.
The bunker shot is usually very easy come US Open time when you have a strong wind howling off of the ocean. In 199, they were getting it up and down from under the tree right of the green even. But without that wind, that hole is brutal from the bunker

I don't know if I agree that he got greedy on 18. Boy wants to WIN! With an eagle, a mistake by TP Jr. would have him tied. At least he didn't mess up the attempt like last week. I thought Jason Day's play was sketchy. Vaughn Taylor and then Ted Potter, Jr. Who's next? Forgot Henrik Stenson!
