Looks like he had the ball a foot behind his back foot. Not sure what he was attempting there. Looked like he over thought it and tried to play something you would try in a practice round

I'll be happy with 2nd place at this point. Phil just needed those close putts to drop. 3 of them by my count

This showing should give Phil a big boost of confidence. Btw, Rahm looks like the new whiner on the tour.

Shame the drive didn't find the bunker to at least have a shot @ 2 on 18

Does this knock him out of the Top 50 with the double on the last?

I read one tweet this week where they said a MC this week wouldn't drop him out of 50th. I think he's fine

The double took him from solo 3rd to T5. Still good week and what a putt by Reavie.

Has Reavie won yet on the PGA? If not, i wouldn’t mind him getting a career-changing win, but i like Woodland too who seems to have an advantage (3rd shot is real close).

Phil was trying to hole that putt at 18 for a chance at a tie. I don't think he cares if it's 3rd or 5th place, as he wants to win. Not sure, because there were interruptions, but it seemed to me that he played rather quickly on that last hole. Bad luck to stick in that stuff. I saw lots of guys get lucky. I was impressed with his play today. Hope he keeps it up. He could easily have won if a few had dropped.

When I was at Careerbuilder I asked Getson if he was playing 5 in a row. He said he was going to see how it goes. I tend to think he will since he didn't win this week. Had he won I see no need to get worn out with 5 in a row

I think PHIL gets about 9 points this week and will end up about 43rd in the world?
