a 5 foot birdie miss on 15...ugh

still +1

erratic with his drives and the two missed putts in that 5-7 foot range have kind of defined his round thus far

Slow start and yes a bird at #15 would have been nice.

A bit of miss at #16

All the news about Day was he was tired, kids sick, wife spent day in hospital and he didn't see course and he's -1.

Really tough start for Phil with these conditions. If he is not careful, this round could get away from him.

Heat and pressure of last major is getting to Phil. If he had won the British open this would not be bothering me.

Phil is wet on 18? With his second shot? What a disaster.

I guess it didn't make it to the water (not sure how the announcers on the featured group coverage couldn't tell us that) but still in trouble at 18

Geesh, another bad shot off the tee, with a hybrid no less. Not good when you got Bones showing Phil what's he doing (wrong) with a club in Bones hands after the swing.

That's one hideous golf bag that Bones is toting? Thick green & white strips with brown on the sides with Callaway on it... Is that some kind of 'throwback' theme like the other sports teams are doing?

I noticed that on Tuesday. Saw another Callaway guy with same bag. I think they all may have it this week
