Not a great drive (in right dirt?); after 2nd shot, 96 yards out and no closer than 32 feet, ugh.

Good drive on fairway fridge but lays up in rough. 3rd almost goes in but runs way past. Tough 2 put par now

Out of position on his drive, can't make green in 2.  Can't keep pushing the envelope like this.

Nevermind...they changed ShotTracker back to original...

I read where Phil said he has 6 tournaments after this week to qualify for Olympics . Said if he doesn't make team he will go on vacation with family. Said never had 3 weeks off in the summer so it's a Win win .

Just pulled another drive. Not good

LOL, I did the same thing yesterday.  They had the Thursday SCramble at our course, so the course was closed from 5:30, but the range was open so wifie and I went to the range.  What breaks my game is my driving, I'm great from 120 yrds and in, putting is fantastic (won't let my instructor mess with my putting), and where I lose it is my driving or long approach shots (which forces me to work my short game a lot). Our course is tight and unforgiving on bad drives, too much cambered fairways, water, woods/weeds/thick stuff...where the ball is lost.  Needless to say, on slow play days, I may find 20-25 balls for my back yard field practice range :-)

I don't think there's a chance in hell for him to make the Olympic team, now trying to make the Ryder Cup, that's a different story.

In right rough (is he blocked by trees?) and pin is tucked away behind right bunker, out of position on drive...should be coming in from the left side, not the right.

Like my wife always says ("he hasn't had a 3-putt in 30 rounds").... "they just jinxed him".

They said yesterday that, different than yesterday, Friday is supposed to be benign in the morning, low wind, with wind picking up in the afternoon, so that the early-late rotation would get the worst weather.

It's dead calm out there now. I'm getting my money's worth with pgatour live. They show a lot of Phil just wish it was low scores.

Yep, that's what worries me...like "treading water waiting for a bogie".

To 8 feet for birdie!! - let's make!
