AS after 1st. I know it's tough out there but door was open for a 39 yd pitch and Phil hits it to 15 feet.

This shot does not sound good:

Phil Mickelson: Shot 3 143 yds to unknown, 66 yds to hole

It looks like Phil will lose the 6th hole...

Announcer sayers Berger may not know the line between confidence and arrogance in match play . Hinting the kid may not be giving Phil respect he deserves.

Don't know why anyone would want 7 rounds of this wind screwing up your swing 2 weeks before Augusta

Phil takes the lead again...and drives into the fairway bunker (over 190 yards away from pin, still) on this next shot.

1 up - playing the 15th

if Hamburger only ties this hole, he is eliminated

Phil would then have to win his match against Loud Mouth Reed tomorrow as a tie would do him no good at all

Not sure what happened (shot tracker is not up to date), but Phil won the 18 and won the match.

Needs a win tomorrow or a tie to force a playoff.

Phil gets the win.

Hate the group stage format. In the old format, 2 wins guaranteed one a top 10 finish. Now, because Loud Mouth also has 2 wins, he must win his next match to advance. A tie means a sudden death playoff
