Boy conditions look tough. Phil keeps preaching patience he better have it. A top 5 would be a nice consolation for ryder cup points and world rankings. I know he wants to win but don't want his aggressive nature to blow him off the leader board. Just hope Rory falters to make it exciting.

Phil has talked about how the game is fun for him again. His level of play is at a level it hasn't been since he last won in 2013. He's part of the conversation again. On a week to week basis, he's relevant.

But can he be more than that?

It's been a while since Phil has had a great final round. It's been even longer since he's won a PGA Tour event. The putts haven't fallen on Sunday for him yet. Can that change today?

Birdie is the start he needed. Makes a five footer after a nice pitch.

Apparently he "Winged Foot'd" it on the 3rd and a tree kept it dry.. Maybe this is his round to catch some breaks.

Great par on 3 after that big left miss; up and in from the greenside bunker. Will be in a tie for second soon.

Awesome tee shot on 4. Just inside 10 feet for birdie.

Can't tell how very very much bones read putts the 2 day's I was there. I was waiting for Phil to hand him putter and say you hit it. Iol I'm sure phil wants the input but geezzzzzzz

Piped down the middle of the eighth fairway. Needed a big drive. Three par 5s in the next five holes. Move must start now.

I haven't watched this tournament in a few years and the holes looked different. I went to google Earth and I can't believe how much they redesigned this course. Tons of holes are way different.

Finally a bogey for Rory.

Bubba makes a long eagle. Easily my least favourite golfer on tour. Cannot stand the guy.

Pretty good approach shot leaves a 30 footer or so for eagle. Right on line just needed a harder bounce.
