I guess Phil is teeing off right now?  I get confused with Arizona's time zone.

I think they are mountain, but during daylight savings it as if they are pacific since they do not do daylight savings time.

Great first drive in the fairway (hole 10). 149 to the hole.

Well, pbp/shot tracker lied to me. It was not a good drive on 10. Phil put the second into the bunker, didn't get close with his third, and makes bogey.

AZ is 2 hours behind Eastern time zone, speaking of which, may Phil find his zone. It's cold there this morning, and not good weather for arthritis. Interesting that Phil addressed his condition saying it would benefit him to play the 3 tournament stretch.

I thought he was starting around 10:30?.... ugh, from what I heard, Tom Weiskopf re-vamped this course last year (finished in November) and it is supposedly harder, bunkers moved to challenge the long hitters, and not likely to see the -25 scores of years past?

Made a mess of that by getting in the bunker.

Phil hit the greenside bunker with his second shot and had a long bunker shot (like hole 10). Just a par on the par 5 13th.

Yea, to be 60 feet short, into a bunker no less, from 123 yrds, even I can do better that.
