I may miss some of PHIL's round this afternoon--the world is grabbing me

missed putt at #1 and a missed fairway at #2. #2 on the south course is a chomp chomp hole if you find the fairway

Double on the second and we will see what PHIL is made of?

You have to make 12 foot birdie or par putts to win here. 0-3 so far

Double bogie on #2, so +2 out of the gate.

Nasty double followed two nice birds. A few more putts falling and he would be -2.

Talk about a wild finish--dreary bogie on #17 and then a 25 foot birdie putt at #18

Pleased with his round. PHIL sounds very happy with the way things are going. Glad he made the switch to Getson. Phil was stuck in neutral with Butch. Funny that Butch didn't see he was off plane or if he did they couldn't fix it. Whatever I think we will have a great year Smile

Made a ton of putts today but missed a few as well. The two weak tee shots cost him 3 strokes.

Looking for a good round on Friday

They said that the grass made the putts difficult to read. Lots of golfers were missing putts. Lots of lip outs. Happy that he had so much air time today.

Wow, great recovery. From +2 to -3 on the harder course that played 2.5-shots more than the North Course, and T-15th ! Stick that in the one-and-done guy on golf channel that said last week was an aberration!
