2nd Round 2015 HUmana
and yup PHIL was ever so close on Thursday. We need putts to fall and he will be on a roll so to speak
So let's go PHIL
So let's go PHIL
Re: 2nd Round 2015 HUmana
Well not the start we were hoping for yesterday but it is the first round of the season. So, let's see what he does today. I was thinking today that I will withhold my judgment on Phil until after the first 3 tournaments. When he got to -3 thru 7 yesterday, I thought maybe -5 or -6 but the key was the 2 par 5's on the back nine. When he failed to birdie them and I saw a few long par 4's on the backside I wasn't surprised that he dropped a few shots.
Watch the par 5's today.........

PHIL said 71 was the highest he shot in months. I hope the pressure to perform at 44 isn't getting in his head.

The 13th hole is a par 5. That should tell us something about how Phil's day is going to be.

KUTCHER is playing same course as Phil back 9 first and is -5 thru 7. If Phil doesn't score real low he is in big trouble.

Should have been no worse than -3/-4 yesterday. Did not take advantage of the par-5's. He birdied 1 out of 4 yesterday (par'd the remaining 3).

Beginning to think no matter (withPhil) how great u play in off season you need tournament play to get sharp. This could be a problem since he wants to just play 3 in a row. I actually agree with that given his age and arthritis. Just hope its a successful game plan

Re: 2nd Round 2015 HUmana
The ones who are playing sharp are the ones that played through the break... Reed, Kuchar, etc. That's what having an all-year long season does for you....you get out-competed by the guys who are play-a-holics, they stay/get sharp as you gather rust in the off-season.
Now dropped down to #103 without dropping a stroke...others are going forward.

Bogey. PHIL is getting a rude awakening. Im sure if true all the low scores he shot off season and now this start after all the off season prep. WOW.. What bothers me is that Pelz has him going b a ck and forth with the putting grip based on distance apparently the stats support this .

And he bogies the par-3 immediately after, back to -1 and T-111. His psyche is going to take a big slice of humble pie.

Got a feeling Phil will be missing the cut; isn't the cut on this thing normally something like -6/-7/-8 ?

We will have the pleasure of at least seeing Phil on TV tomorrow. But the way its going Sunday...who knows. I really am shocked how bad this is going. I probably shouldn't be but I AM.
