And we're freezing our azzes off in Oklahoma!

p.s. - I told my son when he completes his MBA this May, I'm taking him and mom for a golf vacation to Phoenix/Scottsdale for 4-5 days and Palm Springs for another 4-5 days, so plan on being gone about 10 days.  My brother-in-law in Palm Springs works for a major contractor who he says he can easily get 4-some plays on various nice courses (last time he got us on a couple at PGA West).

Bulls have you ever been to palm Springs before? I accompanied my husband on a company trip there about 6 years ago. So beautiful there .Those mountains look fake. I'd definitely go back if had the opportunity.

Uhm....my wife's parents moved to Palm Springs and we used to vacation every year for about 15 years....then they moved here to Oklahoma?  Leave Palm Springs for Oklahoma?....well, to be near their daughter, of course.  I missed my vacation trips out there, even though we usually went in August, remember one time the entire mid-day temperature was 118-120*F.  But my father-in-law lived on a course and we used to play some other track and then his....I would get about 10 rounds in 7 days.  I played the one course in PGA West that is in the PGA series this week....think it's either the Palmer course or the Nicklaus course (we've played both), and one par-3 is against the mountains, I think it's the one with the canal going along the left side of the hole....I remember keeping my eye up on the rocks thinking "those things can fall straight down on us"...and there were mountain goats up there.
