Re: PGA championship 2015 final round
Well, Phil said yesterday that "he played the hard shots very well, and the easy shots, well, not so well".
I hope he can go under par again, perhaps getting to -8 (-3 today) to -10 (-5 today) and hopefully crack the Top-10.
He was asked about the President's Cup and said he would like to play his way onto the team instead of seeking a Captain's Pick. I don't know if he would be a pick, he's so far out of the automatic choices that they would have to skip over a bunch of younger guys....but then again, maybe they'd like some veteran for stability, although they have Furyk.
Then again, he could shoot -10 under today ..... ok, just dreaming.

Re: PGA championship 2015 final round
Phil missed fairways at both one and two which did not allow him to take advantage of those two holes although he had birdie putts of 22 and 9 feet he could not convert. Needs to hit more fairways and greens plus limit 3 putts....not going to win by any stretch but would like to see a good round from him. Wind is brisker today and course is finally drying out.

Great shot on 3. Jason Bohn couldn't say enough about playing with Phil yesterday.Gushed over Phil s shots and also the conversation and how great it was to play with him. Said it made for a low round.

Re: PGA championship 2015 final round
Phil hit a nice tee shot at 3 but missed another very make able birdie putt....only 7-8 feet at not even close...lot of guys making putts today again but looks like this part of Phil's game might be off today...just can't get everything working at same time.

Re: PGA championship 2015 final round
Phil parred 4 and the par 5 5th but just eagled the par 4 6th...went for it off tee and hit right greenside bunker and holed out for eagle 2. Now at 7 under and t15...had a couple of short putts fallen at 2 and 3 he would be 4 under thru 7 and 9 under overall.

Missed 3ft 7in. par save. If Phil ever does get in contention the next 2 tournaments we are going to be sweating those length putts like always.

This tournament is a birdie fest. When Phil won in 2005 I think winning score was -4. I know they got rain but geezzz.

Another bogie followed by two bogies
Couple strokes from a top ten.
Here's the answer to the Presidents cup question. Two top twenty fives in the last two majors. Are there 12 Americans better then that?

Amazing, Jason is leading Speith by 4, now 3, and all they do is give highlights of Speith as if he is going to win.
